This product is made from smooth, solid glass and is coated with sublimation coating for heat transfer printing.
After use, wash this item with warm soapy water. It is also safe for use in the dishwasher.
This Beer Mug measures 15.5cm in height with an 8.7cm diameter. It has the capacity to hold 568 millilitres of delicious beery goodness.
All of our products are printed or engraved right here in our Australian workshop. We aim to make and ship all orders placed before 12pm on the same day, and orders placed after 12pm will leave next business day. Shipping & Handling
We aim to make and ship all orders placed before 12pm on the same day (shipped from Albury NSW). Orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched next business day. Free Standard Shipping applies to all orders Australia wide*.
Express Shipping can be selected for a flat rate of $15.00 (excludes Remote Locations).

- Express Delivery: Express orders will be sent via TNT Express, Star Track Express or Australia Post Express. We choose the best option depending on your location, so that you may receive it as quickly as possible.
Once your order has been sent, you will receive a dispatch notification email with tracking details, including the courier that was used and the tracking number. You may track your order online using the courier’s online tracking service. You can also access your tracking number by logging into ‘My Account’ and clicking on the order in question. Alternatively, you can contact us for your tracking number by calling (02) 6025 6765 or by emailing email@example.com.
If you are unable to receive your parcel in person, an instruction card from the courier will be left. You will be required to contact the courier to arrange a redelivery on a day you will be home, or provide Authority to Leave in the event you won’t be home. Alternatively, upon placing your order, in the ‘Order Notes’ section during checkout, you can provide Authority to Leave. Please specify an area for your item to be left if you will not be home (i.e. On porch to left of door).

Can I return my item?
If your item has been personalised (engraved or printed with a specific name or phrase), unfortunately we do not accept change of mind returns or exchanges for these items. All other items of a non-personalised nature (for example, cheese knife sets), can be returned for any reason at customer cost, provided they are in their original condition or packaging. Items must returned by the original purchaser (and not the gift recipient) along with the order number and date of purchase.
What if I have a faulty item?
If you have received a faulty or damaged item, please contact our team on (02) 6025 6765 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will require photographic evidence of the fault via email. Once received, you will have your choice of a full refund, including refund of return shipping (receipt required) or a replacement of the item.
How long do I have to return my item?
You will have 14 days from when you received your item to return it to us. Returns will not be accepted without prior authorisation. If you have an item you’d like to return, please contact our team on (02) 6025 6765 or by emailing email@example.com.
Where do I return my item?
Once we have given authorisation to return an item, you will be given provided with a shipping address and instructions to send back the item.
When will I receive a refund or replacement item?
Refunds or replacements will be given upon return of the item. Please allow 1-3 business days for the refund to show in your account once processed.
Why should I shop with Gift Society?
We are a small, family run business, and we pride ourselves on excellent communication skills and attention to customer service. With only 3 of us here in the office, your enquiry will be personally handled by the person you first make contact with, and won’t get lost among a chain of command. We also spend a lot of time sourcing quality products that we know are of great value, all of which we love to own for our own homes.
How does your website work? How do I personalise my item?
The designs that you find on our website are templates, and the details that you provide (for example, in the fields that say First Name, Second Name, etc), simply replace the details shown on the example (the main product picture of the listing). On this page, you will find a list of personalisation fields where you can enter the details you’d like. Not all fields are required, and optional fields will be marked as such. The design templates also extend to capitalisation; where you will see a design all in capitals, even if you provide the details in lower case, it will be engraved/printed in capitals (and vice versa). Unless we are given specific instructions during checkout in the Order Notes section, or are contacted before or after the order is placed, the board is made exactly according to the template. Not all fonts are available in both capital and lower case letters, so bear in mind, it may not always be possible to fulfil your request.
Do you do custom designs?
We sure do! We are happy to organise changes to any of the designs listed on our website, or organise a whole new design for you at no additional cost. Simply email us the details of what you would like (i.e. what item you would like, a description or image of your design, etc) and we will get back to you with a mock up. You can shoot that email through to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why don’t you sell and engrave Bamboo chopping boards?
Whilst Bamboo is a cheaper option, there are a few reasons why we don’t sell these boards on our site. Bamboo, in comparison to the Acacia, Spotted Gum and Blue Gum boards we sell, resists water due to the density of the wood and not natural oils, meaning this will dull your knives faster. As Bamboo is technically a grass, we find that engravings do not come out as rich and have quite a pixelated or jagged edge. Bamboo boards are also very light in nature, and they do not have a robust weight and feel like with our Acacia, Spotted Gum and Blue Gum boards.
What is your turnaround time?
We endeavour to make and dispatch all orders placed before 1pm on the same day. Any orders placed after 1pm will be made and dispatched next business day.
How long does delivery take? Is my item sent from overseas?
We engrave and print all of our items ourselves, right here in our Australian workshop! We don’t outsource any of our engraving or printing overseas so all deliveries are sent from within Australia. Delivery time varies based on your location which you can read more about here in our Shipping & Handling section, however as a general rule, orders should be delivered within 7 business days no matter your location.
Do I need to pay for Express Shipping?
Whilst we do everything we can to stick by our turnaround time, sometimes our shipping companies can let us down during transit. If you require your item within 2-3 days, we recommend paying for Express Shipping, but the decision is ultimately up to you!
What is “Authority to Leave”?
Authority to Leave means giving the courier permission to leave your item in the event you won’t be home to receive it. If you have a safe place for your parcel to be left, you can provide Authority to Leave (including a place for the parcel to be left) as this helps avoid any delivery-related delays and ensures you will receive your parcel in a good time frame.
Do you ship outside of Australia?
Unfortunately, internationally shipping outside of Australia is very expensive and often times, the shipping cost is worth more than the cost of the item. There are also different custom restrictions for wooden items into most countries, and it could not be guaranteed that there wouldn’t be an importing issue with our chopping boards, cheeseboards or wooden watches. If you would like to obtain a quote to ship internationally, please contact us by emailing email@example.com with the item and international address.
What are the care instructions on your cheeseboards, chopping boards and beer mugs? Can I put them in the dishwasher?
We recommend that your cheeseboard or chopping board be washed with warm soapy water and wiped dry. Avoid soaking in water, and do not put through the dishwasher as this can cause your board to crack. Over time, water can cause wood to dry out – we recommend rubbing your board with Butcher Block Oil or Grapeseed Oil from time to time, or after each use. You can simply use a soft sponge to apply and rub in the oil. Beer Mugs are also safe to put through the dishwasher, however only on a standard 40 degree or lower wash. An intensive wash (such as pots and pans) can ruin the image printed on the mug.
Do you provide proofs upon ordering?
Generally, we do not provide proofs. When providing proofs, we need written or verbal confirmation to go ahead with your order and this can cause delays between placing your order and receiving your order. Often times, we find that proof emails are overlooked. If you would like to request a proof with your order, please put this request in the ‘Order Notes’ section during checkout, however please note, this can delay your order up to 24 hours or until we receive confirmation from you to proceed.
