Description

Camphor Laurel

  • Camphor Laurel is distinctively known for its fresh camphor smell, similar to that of Eucalyptus. It varies widely in colour from pale to mid browns, and is often streaked in dark brown, black or red tones. Camphor Laurel also boasts antibacterial properties which makes it perfect for use in chopping boards, grazing platters, cheeseboards, etc.

Resin

  • Resin is a composite blend that is moulded into cracks, knots or missing portions of the board. The end result is similar in consistency to polymer (hard setting), and has a solid, shiny and slightly glittered appearance. The resin we use is non-toxic and food safe.

ADD AN ENGRAVING

Choose one of our available designs to be engraved onto your board – free of charge! Make a selection under ‘Choose a Design’ for a larger preview of each option.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BOARD

Your board should be lightly washed down with a warm soapy cloth, and should not be submerged in water or put through the dishwasher. We recommended conditioning your board with Mineral Oil after each use to avoid the timber drying out and developing cracks or bends. Each board is sent with a care instructions card.
